Coalition updates- |
Bonnie started on Monday, please send updates to her. She is working on the website. May will be the last month for Paul and Cassandra in their positions as Co-chairs. Nominations are needed. Last month Chief Clay had a question regarding legalization of marijuana. We have developed a panel consisting of Sally Baker, Gwen Ossenkop, Pat Crouse and Alicia King. We met twice and will continue to meet biweekly. Not sure if marijuana will be legalized but looks like the governor is headed in that direction. Once it is legalized, there are possible approaches the local government can take. We are all still learning and will update as we go. Ordinances could be put into place as well as possible restrictions on advertising and locations of dispensaries. |
